Each year, MPI must file a rate application with the Public Utilities Board (PUB) for approval of the rates and premiums that the Corporation will charge for Basic insurance in the next year. This year, MPI has requested no changes to the rate.
As a result, the PUB holds an annual hearing to allow for public input in an accessible forum.
